The Group

We were a small research group funded primarily by a grant from The European Research Council and had a long record of investigating the organization of DNA and its associated factors in the eukaryotic cell nucleus. Our studies focused on the determination of nucleosome higher-order structures and chromatin-remodeling factors at near-atomic resolution. The tools employed were X-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy and biochemical analysis.
